A young proprietress, born under the autumn leaves. She studied classical Japanese literature at a women's college in Kyoto, and came to this inn when her grandmother fell ill. We hope you will spend the season of Arashiyama together with us.

Kaede's father. Kyo-kaiseki cuisine, made from what the four seasons of Arashiyama offer. The menu changes each day, according to what arrives that morning.

Kaede's grandmother. She loved the Tale of Genji, and passed that heart on to the present proprietress. Until the day we may meet again.
